Console Table

Richly figured Scottish beech is combined with American cherry in this individual piece comissioned by a local customer.  The removable half-moon tray is designed to hold a collection of rare fossils, visible through the toughened glass top.  Please feel free to get in touch if you have a similar idea you would like turned into reality.

  • The toughened glass top is held by precise slots and a unique wooden screw.
  • The 'flame' shapes in the grain of the Scottish beech are highlighted by the darker cherry legs.
  • The legs are tapered in plan and hidden joints hold the shelves delicately.
